The Provincial Board of Directors is putting out a challenge to all WI branches to be creative in your plans to celebrate WI Week.
  • Prizes of $50, $30, and $20 will be awarded to the three branches that are the most creative.
  • Please submit a write-up of your activity (including pictures) to the WI office before March 31, 2010.
  • Activities must be held during WI Week, February 14-20.(Possible activities include: meet your neighbour night, coffee party, community concert, games night, a tea, event for special service project etc.)
  • The winners will be recognized at the County Conventions in May.
This is a great opportunity to involve the community.

Mission Statement:

Women's Institute is an educational organization focusing on the family, personal growth and community action. 

Objectives:

  • To stimulate and develop leadership.
  • To establish Institutes as educational, cultural and social centres in their communities.
  • To promote a greater understanding and appreciation of the importance of the agriculture industry in the province.
  • To promote a greater understanding of social and economic problems affecting families.
  • To develop a greater appreciation of homemaking.
  • To promote local, national and international understanding, tolerance and goodwill.
